Head of School
Mrs. Jacqueline Neal
Mrs. Neal has been a true life-long learner. She holds an Associate of Arts Degree, (emphasis in Science and Mathematics), a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, (Minors in Chemistry and Marine Studies), a Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certification in Secondary Education, and a Masters of Education Administration and Supervision.
Starting her career as a researcher, she used her scientific background to bridge into education, beginning as a math and science classroom teacher at a prestigious Oahu private school. Her path then brought her to Maui and into a leadership position at Seabury Hall, providing her with the ability to positively impact the lives of many more children. As Middle School Head, she is well-acquainted with both the day-to-day and longer-term strategic needs of running a school, including in the time of COVID-19. She has participated in three accreditation and several strategic planning processes, as well as various stages of planning and implementing renovations and facility growth. She has extensive experience with curriculum and instruction, and she has also served in all aspects of student behavior support and guidance.
