2nd Grade Teacher

Mrs. Jeanne Vorhes

Mrs. Jeanne Vorhes has taught the 2nd grade class at Carden Academy of Maui since 2012. She is trained in the Carden method and holds a BA from the University of Minnesota. She loves teaching because she loves to be an integral part of seeing children grow and learn, being there for that “aha” moment in their eyes.

Mrs. Vorhes is thankful to work in a supportive environment where the administration and parents are committed to an excellent academic and character education for the children.  She feels fortunate to have a small class size where she is able to give each child individual attention. She has lived on Maui since 1986 with her family, and she enjoys reading, traveling, and going to the beach.
