Dance Teacher – Ms. Vanessa Cerrito

Vanessa Cerrito studied Ballet at Berkeley Ballet Theater and Marin County’s Ballet Califia. She continued her dance studies including Ballet, Modern, African and other dance forms throughout California, New York, and Maui. She was a dance scholarship student at the College of Marin where she earned her Associates Arts Degree in the Performing Arts. Ms. Vanessa was a principal dancer in “Sweet Peas”, an Aurora Production Film. She has performed for the last 10 years with David Ward and Andre Morissette as a principal and soloist dancer, and is a recipient of an HSDC Choreographic Award. Ms. Vanessa also performed in “Ulalena” as an aerial acrobat and was the principal aerialist in “Waikiki Nei”. She now teaches Ballet and Modern Jazz here on Maui at Seabury Hall and is a founding member of Adaptations Dance Theater. She is excited to teach at Carden Academy.
