Each grade in the elementary level cares for and maintains their own section in the Carden Garden. Not only do the students learn about different plants and how to grow them for sustainability, they also get to participate in caring for the crop they grow with increasing responsibilities. A favorite is the study of the native Indians, who grew their own corn. Parallel to the classroom teachings the students get to experience and actively participate in growing their corn in the Carden Garden.
The Carden Garden will be the beneficiary of the 2015 Fall Festival!
Mahalo to Kelly Cannon for all the work that you have done with the Carden Garden, and for the Fall Festival as well!
