ART TEACHER – PART TIME

Carden Academy of Maui is an independent private school serving Pre-kindergarten through 8th-grade students in Pukalani. We seek a Pre-K through 8th Grade Art Teacher for a part-time position now available for this school year. The Art Teacher will facilitate visual and fine arts instruction, providing instruction in visual art concepts and skills.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s in Fine Arts (preferred)
Ideal candidate has two years of teaching experience in an elementary/middle school classroom.

Additional Teacher Qualifications:
– Communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals regularly.
– Has excitement, joy, and passion for teaching art to a wide range of abilities in elementary and middle schoolers.
– Possess competency with technology devices (such as MacBooks, iPads, smart TV, etc.), as well as information and communication technologies (such as Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, video conferencing and VOIP platforms, student information systems, learning management systems, testing applications, etc.).
